The Masked Dancer is a British reality dancing competition television series based on the American television series of the same name. It premiered on ITV on 29 May 2021.
On 4 March 2021, it was announced that ITV were producing a local version of the American television dancing competition The Masked Dancer following the success of its sister show The Masked Singer. The show is produced by the British television production company Bandicoot, part of the Argonon Group, the same company who produced The Masked Singer. The series will consist of 12 contestants competing through seven episodes. The series was commissioned as a replacement in the spring schedule for Britain’s Got Talent, which had its upcoming fifteenth series postponed until 2022 due to health and safety concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. The show premiered on 29 May 2021.
“Bang Bang” is a song recorded by American producer and rapper will.i.am featuring the vocals of Shelby Spalione. The single features as the third track on the soundtrack album of the 2013 Baz Luhrmann film The Great Gatsby. “Bang Bang” is also featured on the deluxe edition of will.i.am’s fourth studio album #willpower. “Bang Bang” peaked within the top ten of the charts in Belgium (Wallonia) and the United Kingdom. In the latter country, will.i.am is a coach on the The Voice UK, and an alternate version of the song featuring vocals from Leah McFall ― the runner-up on season two of the show ― is included on the compilation Now 86.
