The Night House follows Beth (Rebecca Hall), a woman reeling from the unexpected death of her husband and is left alone in the lakeside home he built for her. She tries as best she can to keep it together – but then the nightmares come. Disturbing visions of a presence in the house calling to her with a ghostly allure. The Night House is produced by David S. Goyer, Keith Levine, and John Zois. The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 24, 2020.
Bruckner’s The Night House was originally scheduled to be released on July 16, 2021 by Searchlight Pictures. But its US release was moved to August 20, 2021.
