Eat Wheaties! tells the story of Sid Straw (Tony Hale), a man whose unexceptional life takes a wild turn when he becomes co-chair of his college reunion and accidentally stalks his famous college classmate, actress Elizabeth Banks, on social media. His messages to her go viral and he becomes obsessed with proving that he was friends with the actress. Sid’s life soon spirals out of control until he finds himself banned from the reunion. This comedy film is written and directed by filmmaker Scott Abramovitch, in his feature directorial debut. The film is an adaptation of Michael Kun’s 2003 novel “The Locklear Letters,” updated for the social media era. The film stars Tony Hale, Elisha Cuthbert, Paul Walter Hauser, David Walton, Sarah Chalke, Alan Tudyk, and Danielle Brooks.
