This Gen Z drama film is written and directed by indie filmmaker Danny Madden, in his feature directorial debut. Madden takes his award-winning short film ‘Krista’ and transforms it into an unsettling feature exploration of adolescence, performance, and identity. The film stars Shirley Chen, Will Madden, and Jose Angeles as three young adults whose lives intersect in a suburban town.

Beast Beast is produced by Matt Miller, Tara Ansley, Jim Cummings, amd Benjamin Wiessner. This film premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival in January 2020. It will be released in select US theaters on April 16, 2021 and then on VOD starting May 4, 2021.
This coming of age indie film won the Best Narrative Feature – Audience Award and the Georgia Film Award at the Atlanta Film Festival 2020.
