His videos have a total of more than 44 million views, with his 2017 cover of Rihanna’s “Diamonds” getting 11 million views and its studio version gaining a whopping 26 million views since it was posted in March 2018. He performed the same Rihanna song when he was invited on Steve Harvey’s Show in 2017.

The nineteenth season of the reality show singing competition American Idol premiered on February 14, 2021 on the ABC television network. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, the show offered its first ever live virtual auditions to aspiring contestants through its Idol Across America program using custom-built Zoom technology. The remote auditions took place from August 10 to October 28, 2020 in 50 states plus Washington, D.C. as well as a number of open call auditions, and from these the producers selected the contestants who can then audition in front of the judges.
“All of Me” is the third single from John Legend’s fourth studio album Love in the Future (2013). It is dedicated to his wife Chrissy Teigen. It peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Legend’s first number-one single in the United States. It became the second best-selling song of 2014 in the United States with 4.67 million copies sold for the year, as well as the third best-selling song in the United Kingdom. “All of Me” was the third best-selling song of 2014 with 12.3 million equivalent-units worldwide (sales plus streaming), according to the IFPI.
