Savanna Woods “Zombie” The Voice Audition 2021
Show: The Voice
Season: The Voice 2021 (Season 20)
Host: Carson Daly
Coaches: Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Nick Jonas, Blake Shelton
Nick Jonas said Savanna’s tone is incredible and laid-back, in contrast with her performance style and her big rock vocals. Blake Shelton agreed with Nick that Savanna is very laid-back, like someone who didn’t just make it to The Voice. John Legend loved the moments when Savanna was wailing and hitting the notes “with so much electricity and edge” in her voice.
Meanwhile, Kelly Clarkson loved the powerful moments in the chorus and noticed how Savanna put the rasp in there, which she said is an advanced thing to do vocally. She said Savanna had a creepy kind of vibe and thinks she’s as cool as hell. “For me, what just happened was Patty Griffin and Nirvana had a baby, and I, like, really liked it in my head.”
The twentieth season of the American reality television series The Voice premiered on March 1, 2021, on NBC.
