Four Good Days tells the story of 31-year-old Molly (Mila Kunis), who begs her estranged mother Deb (Glenn CLose) for help in fighting a fierce battle against the demons that have derailed her life. Despite all she has learned over a decade of disappointment, grief and rage, Deb throws herself into one last attempt to save her beloved daughter from the deadly and merciless grip of h–roin addiction. This 2020 American drama film is directed by Colombian filmmaker Rodrigo García (Things You Can Tell Just by Looking at Her, Ten Tiny Love Stories, Nine Lives, Passengers, Mother and Child, Albert Nobbs, Last Days in the Desert), from a screenplay by García and Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Eli Saslow. It is based upon Saslow’s 2016 Washington Post article “How’s Amanda? A Story of Truth, Lies and an American Addiction”. It stars Glenn Close, Mila Kunis and Stephen Root.
