The documentary features interviews with Angela Bassett, Oprah Winfrey, journalist Kurt Loder, playwright Katori Hall and Tina’s husband Erwin Bach.

Tina Turner (age 81) is an American-born Swiss singer, songwriter, and actress, known as the “Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll”. She rose to fame as the frontwoman of Ike & Tina Turner before launching a successful career as a solo performer. She is one of the best-selling recording artists of all time with 100 million records sold worldwide. She has received 12 Grammy Awards, which include eight competitive awards, three Grammy Hall of Fame awards, and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. She was the first black artist and first female to cover Rolling Stone, who also ranked her among the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time and the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time.
