Sator tells the story of a broken family further torn apart by a mysterious death. Adam (Michael Daniel), guided by a pervasive sense of dread, hunts for answers only to learn that they are not alone in their desolate forest home. A sinister presence by the name of Sator has been observing his family, subtly influencing all of them for years in an attempt to claim them. Startattle.com – Sator 2021.
This horror thriller film is written and directed by American filmmaker Jordan Graham, the director of horror science fiction film Specter. Graham, who also edited, lensed, and scored Sator, said that the film is inspired by his own life. According to Graham, generations of his family, including his grandmother, have claimed to make contact with a mysterious presence named Sator, and her own haunting accounts are featured in the film.
Sator’s cast includes Michael Daniel, Rachel Johnson, Gabriel Nicholson, Aurora Lowe, June Peterson, and Wendy Taylor.

Sator 2021
The film Sator delves into the Graham family’s dark history with mental illness surrounding the supernatural entity. It uses home video footage to create an “interwoven piece between documentary and fiction.”
Sator is produced by Jordan Graham and executive produced by Elias Adamopoulos and Jennifer Graham. The film premiered at the Fantasia Film Festival in July 2019 and screened in several horror film festivals including Telluride Horror Show, Brooklyn Horror Film Festival, Terror Molins Festival, SOHO Horror Film Festival, Abertoir Horror Festival, and Fantastic Film Festival Australia. It scored a win for Best Director – International Competition at the Fantaspoa International Fantastic Film Festival 2020 and received nominations for Best Film – Audience Award and Best Film – Jury Prize at the Molins Film Festival 2019.
Sator will be released on VOD on February 9, 2021.
