The game-changing clue “Serpent has sung with one of you before,” was presented by Eagle, who was unmasked before as Dr. Drew Pinsky. With that in mind, Ken Jeong guessed that Serpent is Jamie Foxx. Guest panelist Cheryl Hines thought it could be Donald Faison and Robin Thicke agreed. Nicole Scherzinger nailed it when she said that Serpent could be none other than orthopedic surgeon Dr. Elvis Francois, with whom she had sang before and whose version of “Imagine” went viral at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Jenny and Ken couldn’t help but agree with Nicole.
“Cool” was the second single off Jonas Brothers’ fifth studio album, Happiness Begins (2019). The song debuted at number 27 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 39 on the UK Singles Chart.
The fourth season of the American television series The Masked Singer premiered on Fox on September 23, 2020. Nick Cannon, singer-songwriter Robin Thicke, television and radio personality Jenny McCarthy, actor and comedian Ken Jeong, and recording artist Nicole Scherzinger all returned for their fourth season as host and panelists.
The panelists also engaged in a competition for the Golden Ear in this season. After each masked singer performed for the first time along with an initial clue package, each panelist wrote their first impressions-based guess at the identity of the celebrity. Those guesses were revealed after each celebrity was unmasked, with panelist scoring a point for each celebrity they got correct from their initial first impression, with the panelist with the most correct answers winning the Golden Ear.
