I love how you would go in and out of your head voice and your chest voice. You showed us that you had that power, but you also could do the really sweet, smooth, angelic sound at the same time. Your tone was super cool. You had a really unique way of expressing yourself. As I got to enjoy your performance, it was a revelation and truly sounded like nobody else. And I think that’s one of the things that’s going to carry you really far in this show.
Kelly Clarkson’s comment
I’m a big fan of your voice. That’s why I turned around almost the same time as the others. You are very unique. I don’t think that you sound exactly like another person that came out here. But, I will say, I believe her name is Cami. And she has a very ethereal, kind of soulful vibe like you and y’all are different. I’m not saying you’re similar, I’m just saying… Gwen and I don’t have anyone like you. The full-on reason why I turned around is I love how powerful you are in a, like, poetic, cool, chill way.
