Fear the Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic horror drama TV series created by Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson for AMC which premiered on August 23, 2015.. It is a spin-off or companion series to The Walking Dead, which is based on the comic book series of the same name by Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. The first three seasons serve as a prequel, while the subsequent seasons run concurrently to the original show. Morgan Jones (Lennie James) from The Walking Dead cross over into the series.
The series is currently in its sixth season, which debuted on October 11, 2020 and will consist of sixteen episodes. Executive producers of the show include Robert Kirkman, Andrew Chambliss, Ian Goldberg David Alpert, Greg Nicotero, Gale Anne Hurd, and Scott M. Gimple. Chambliss and Goldberg serve as showrunners for the third consecutive season.
Fear the Walking Dead Season 6 follows Morgan Jones (Lennie James) who has been left for dead by Virginia (Colby Minifie). The remaining members of Morgan’s group have been separated by Virginia and her Pioneers and are dispersed across her various settlements.
