When alien invaders kidnap Earth’s superheroes, their children are whisked away to a government safe house. But Missy (Yaya Gosselin) will stop at nothing to rescue her superhero dad, Marcus Moreno (Pedro Pascal). It serves as a stand-alone sequel to “The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D” (2005), which Rodriguez also helmed. This time around, Sharkboy and Lavagirl return as parents. The film stars Priyanka Chopra, Pedro Pascal, Christian Slater, YaYa Gosselin, Taylor Dooley, Sung Kang and Boyd Holbrook.
