Toys of Terror tells the story of David and Hannah Cashman (Dayo Ade and Kyana Teresa) who have promised their family a fun Christmas getaway. But when they arrive at an old house in Washington, the kids realize their parent’s plan to make it a working vacation, renovating the place in the hopes of flipping it. While the eldest child Alicia (Verity Marks) is annoyed, the younger kids wander through the creepy mansion and find a stash of old toys in an abandoned playroom. Soon, the kids seem inseparable from their new toys, much to the dismay of their nanny Rose (Georgia Waters) who, like Alicia, senses that something in the house is not quite right. As stranger things start to happen, Rose and Alicia have a hunch that there may be more to the history of the old house than the Cashman’s are letting on.
Can the family escape with their lives – or will they stay forever in the house, never to celebrate another Christmas again?
This horror film is directed by Nicholas Verso (Max: A Cautionary Tale, Boys in the Trees) and its screenplay is written by Dana Gould. It stars Kyana Teresa, Georgia Waters, Verity Marks, Dayo Ade, Saul Elias, and Zoe Fish.
