Oh, my gosh! You just sang the crap out of my song, but I was like, “you cannot come out here and sing my song like that and not have me turn around.” Your range is incredible.
Whistle notes, you don’t have to do it all the time. But, the fact that you’re just that powerful and bold enough to do it in a moment that really matters. And I know what that’s like ’cause I did it on a singing competition and I was terrified ’cause I was like, “if I mess this moment up, it’s over. And I will be the laughingstock of America.”
But I’m just saying, there’s nothing cooler than somebody to like your song, first of all, enough that they cover it. But, secondly, to make it even better than it was, which is what you just did. Like, America, you will not see me doing that version on tour — ever.

Anyways, you know what’s so amazing about this show? It’s people like you that come out here and are so talented. And you get to have this special moment, sing a Kelly Clarkson song. We get to all just be in awe of you. You are incredible. I can’t wait to see what you do next.
