Oh, my gosh! I loved your voice. I think you have a very powerful voice. The thing I was waiting to hear, personally, was dynamics. Maybe even on that note that you went, “Ooohh”. It would have been nice as more like a “oohh”. Like, something soft every once in a while. And I don’t know if you’re just excited. Anyway, I thought you did a really good job.
Gwen Stefani’s comment
I think it’s just kind of all in one kind of place the whole time, but it was really, really strong. And actually just looking forward to seeing what else your voice can do.
John Legend’s comment
Well, Jus Jon, it’s funny because I really love that song and I love Khalid. He actually was one of my guest mentors. And I think you really do have a great voice. You do have creativity and musicality. Once you guys figure out together what the best next song is for you, I think you’ll even be better.

There is nobody like you on my team. Probably won’t be and that makes me very happy. Because normally, a singer like you comes up here and I’m competing with everybody else. And I never get them to come on my team. Thank God I am the only person that turned around because now you’re stuck with me. And dude, you’re an incredible singer.
