Sabrina is woken decades later by her future self, who explains they are in a time loop and swaps places with her. Herod, Centurion, and Vlad who inform her that Caliban is dead after he failed to conquer the mortal realm. Sabrina discovers Ambrose is still alive, learning the regalia can be used to siphon the time egg’s magic; it sends her back to before Blackwood and the Pagans attacked. Sabrina saves her family and friends. Zelda and her coven invoke the power of the Triple Goddess Hecate to restore their powers and resurrect Hilda, shortly after Sabrina and the coven trick the Pagans into sacrificing Mary Wardwell to the Green Man. Unbeknownst to the pagans, Mary is actually the witch of decay, Pesta, under a glamour, and the witches kill the pagans. After their victory, Sabrina informs her family that she has unfinished business in Hell. There, Sabrina prevents her past self from being tricked by Caliban and seals him in stone.
She decides that the past Sabrina can be the Queen of Hell while the current Sabrina lives on Earth, which breaks the loop and creates a paradox. In the aftermath, Hilda discovers that Dr. Cerberus survived his earlier encounter and they embrace. Prudence breaks up with Ambrose after she discovers Dorcas’s dead body, frustrated that she could not kill Blackwood when she had the chance. Zelda informs Marie that they are now the Order of Hecate and invites her to join them. They share a kiss. Nicholas and Prudence console each other, acknowledging their mutual loneliness. Meanwhile, Faustus, Agatha, Judas, and Judith release the being that was held in the Time Egg creating a new threat for the witches and mortals of Greendale.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is an American supernatural horror television series developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa for Netflix, based on the Archie comic book series of the same name. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television, in association with Berlanti Productions and Archie Comics. Aguirre-Sacasa and Greg Berlanti serve as executive producers, alongside Sarah Schechter, Jon Goldwater, and Lee Toland Krieger.
The series is centered on the Archie Comics character Sabrina Spellman, portrayed by Kiernan Shipka, and also stars Ross Lynch, Lucy Davis, Chance Perdomo, Michelle Gomez, Jaz Sinclair, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Lachlan Watson, Gavin Leatherwood, Richard Coyle, and Miranda Otto. Originally in development during September 2017 at The CW, the series was intended to be a companion series to Riverdale; however, in December 2017, the project was moved to Netflix with a straight-to-series order, consisting of twenty episodes. Filming took place in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The first half of the first season, consisting of ten episodes, was released on October 26, 2018. The series received positive reviews, with critics praising Shipka’s performance, as well as the premise, visuals, and directing. A Christmas special episode was released on December 14, 2018, and the second half of the first season was released on April 5, 2019, consisting of nine episodes. In December 2018, Netflix renewed the series for a second season consisting of 16 episodes, split into two equal parts, of which the first eight episodes were released on January 24, 2020, with the second set to be released on December 31, 2020. In July 2020, Netflix cancelled the series.
