Bird Magician Hakan Berg showcased a magical bird extravaganza during the semi final round of Britain’s Got Talent 2020 (Series 14). Hakan, who dubbed himself as “King of Birds” performed a hilarious routine with lots of chicks up his sleeve.
BGT hosts Ant and Dec as well as BGT judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams, and Cowell stand-in Ashley Banjo were laughing almost non-stop because of Hakan’s antics. But Hakan did not end up in the top three acts for the night, which included Nabil Abdulrashid, Wesley Williams, and Shalom Chorale. Nabil won the judges’ vote and advanced to the final. Aside from Nabil, the rest of the acts in semi-final 5, including Hakan, will have to wait for the public vote result to see if they can move to the final.

Britain’s Got Talent (aka BGT) is a televised British talent show competition, and part of the global Got Talent franchise created by Simon Cowell. It is hosted by Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly (also known as Ant and Dec). The show premiered on June 9, 2007 following the success of America’s Got Talent the previous year.
Every year, contestants of any age can audition for the contest with whatever talent they wish to demonstrate. Auditionees seek to impress a panel of judges – at present, consisting of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and David Walliams – in order to secure a place in the live rounds of BGT.
Britain’s Got Talent 2020 (Series 14) began broadcasting in the UK on April 11, 2020. The series was split into two parts because of the Covid-19 pandemic or coronavirus outbreak and the resulting lockdown issued by the British government. The first half aired audition episodes between April to May, which had been filmed before the national lockdown. The second half is currently airing the remaining episodes across September to October.
Production on the second half of the series saw considerable changes including a change in the voting system. All episodes being aired weekly – a first in the programme’s history – and all semi-finals are pre-recorded.
Before the first semi-finals were to begin, Simon Cowell sustained a back injury following an electric bike accident, and was replaced by Ashley Banjo as a stand-in.
