The Comeback Trail premiered at the Monte-Carlo Comedy Film Festival on October 5, 2020. The film was released on June 19, 2021 through Sky Cinema on the Sky TV and Now TV platforms in the United Kingdom. It was originally scheduled for a theatrical release in the United States on November 13, 2020. But the release date has been pushed to July 23, 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
