Ruby J performed a cover of “Havana” by Camila Cabello during the Blind Auditions of The Voice Kids UK 2020 (Series 4).
“Havana” is the lead single from Camila Cabello’s solo debut album, Camila (2018). It features guest vocals from American rapper Young Thug, with a remix version featuring Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee. “Havana” reached number one in multiple countries including Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the U.S. The live version of the song was nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.
Paloma Faith turned her chair for Ruby J, automatically making her a member of Team Paloma. Ruby J took the last remaining spot in Coach Paloma’s team.

Ruby J audition The Voice Kids UK
The Voice Kids (British series 4) also known as The Voice Kids UK is a British TV music competition to find new singing talent. The fourth series premiered on July 11, 2020, and will be broadcast on a weekly basis on ITV. As with the previous three series, it will be hosted by Emma Willis. Danny Jones, Pixie Lott and will.i.am return as coaches, but Jessie J has been replaced by Paloma Faith, who was also previously a coach on the adult version of the show.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the pre-recorded episodes – featuring the auditions and battle rounds – were filmed a few weeks before the nationwide lockdown in March 2020. No information on the live shows has been given yet.
The winner of The Voice Kids 2020 (Series 4) will receive £30,000 and a family trip to Universal Orlando Resort, Florida.
