Urban dance group Oxygen performed to a remix of Bach’s “Toccata” during the World of Dance Semi-Finals 2020 (Season 4).
Oxygen lost their Duel, but won a Redemption Duel, advancing them to the Semi-Final. Their performance during the semi-finals was a complete turnaround, earning a standing ovation from the judges and an average score of 96.3. Eventually, Oxygen earned a spot in the finale, along with MDC 3. Both groups will join Jefferson y Adrianita and Géométrie Variable who advanced to the finale during The Semi-Finals 1.

Judges’ Comments:
Ne-Yo said, “What we just saw was moving art just now. That was amazing.”
Jennifer Lopez praised the choreographer of the group for her passion. “I could feel how you were willing everybody to do every single move right. You were the maestro of the orchestra, and it worked perfectly.” She said it takes that kind of heart, love, passion, and leadership and said she wanted to cry with the choreographer at the end because it was so beautiful. However, Jennifer noted one part of the performance that didn’t click, but other than that, “it was perfection.”
Derek Hough said Oxygen was so good and their performance was so tight, so theatrical. He said the performance had textures and different styles like krumping, tutting, B-boy. Ne-Yo added, that’s “World of Dance” quality.
