Contemporary dancers MDC 3 performed to “I Surrender” by Céline Dion during the World Finals of World of Dance 2020 (Season 4).
MDC 3 got an average score of 95.7 for their performance, immediately knocking out Oxygen from the top spot of the leaderboard.
Eventually, MDC 3 was never dislodged from the top spot and ended up as the winner of World of Dance 2020 (Season 4). Jefferson y Adrianita took the second spot with an average score of 95.3, Géometrié Variable is third with 93.3, and Oxygen is at 4th place with an average score of 93.

MDC 3 is composed of dancers Madison Smith (age 17), Diego Pasillas (17) and Emma Mather (age 15). They are all from the Mather Dance Company, which was founded by Shannon Mather. They have been dancing as a trio since 2014.

Judges’ Comments:
Jennifer Lopez said that it’s the quality of MDC 3’s dance that gave her goosies. “It was breathtaking at moments. And I could not take my eyes off of you guys.” She said it was “really beautifully done.”
Derek Hough noted the floor section where the three dancers got it perfectly in sync. He described it as “so athletic, so graceful.” He was also impressed with the head slide.
Ne-Yo said there was a moment when Diego broke off and did something which was break dance inspired. He said he locked in on that. “Absolutely flawless,” he concluded.
Jennifer added that MDC 3 being that consistent is a testament to how talented they are.
