English actress and singer Ella Hunt portrays seventeen-year-old Kat, who pretends to be a band manager in her twenties. Hunt is known for Intruders (2011), Les Misérables (2012), Robot Overlords (2014), and her starring role in Anna and the Apocalypse (2017). She also starred in the television series Cold Feet (2016 to 2017), and plays Sue Gilbert on the 2019 Apple TV+ web television series Dickinson.
English singer-songwriter and actor Dougie Lee Poynter (age 32) plays the role of Alex. Poynter is the bassist and youngest member of the pop rock band McFly, as well as bassist for A. He formed the rock band INK in 2018.
