The Rise got a Yes vote from Ne-Yo but got “No” votes from Jennifer Lopez and Derek Hough. Their opponent in the Duels, Upeepz, got two Yes Votes (Derek and Jennifer) and one Yes vote from Ne-Yo, ultimately winning the Duel.

Ne-yo said the one thing that bothered him about The Rise’s performance was the trick, where he could see the effort in the flip. But he later said that The Rise stepped up from their last performance and that the quality in movements is “through the roof.”
Guest tWitch said The Rise painted pictures and sounds in their chosen music. He also said the formation changes through the routine kept the performance exciting. Overall, he thought it was an excellent job.
Derek Hough said that when the guys started, the intensity was so strong and the choreography was on point. He said it’s a difficult duel between The Rise and UPeepz.
Jennifer Lopez said the intensity, passion, and energy from both groups is kind of equal. Except for a distracting mishap in The Rise routine when a group member dropped a shoe, Jennifer said the rest of the dancing was “super good, super clean, super intense.” She felt The Rise did a great routine.
