The Bay of Silence follows Will (Claes Bang), who discovers his wife Rosalind (Olga Kurylenko) and children suddenly disappear after the traumatic birth of their son. He sets out on a frantic search across Europe to regain his family and piece his life back together. As the mystery behind his wife’s actions slowly begins to take a dark and menacing form, Will is determined to seek out the truth-no matter the cost. What happened to his family? Is the cost of truth a price worth paying?
This upcoming internationally co-produced thriller film, is directed by Paula van der Oest (The Domino Effect, Black Butterflies, Moonlight, Lucia de B., Tonio, Zus & Zo). Its screenplay was written by Caroline Goodall, adapted from the novel of the same name by Lisa St Aubin de Terán. The film stars Claes Bang, Olga Kurylenko, Brian Cox Alice Krige and Assaad Bouab.

Danish actor and musician Claes Bang (age 53) portrays Will in this thriller film. Bang is best known for the 2017 film The Square, wherein he won the European Film Award for Best Actor. He rose to international fame as Count Dracula in 2020’s TV show Dracula.
Ukrainian-French actress and model Olga Kurylenko (age 40) portrays Rosalind. Kurylenko became known in the film adaptation of the video game Hitman (2007). She became popular as Bond girl Camille Montes in the 22nd James Bond film, Quantum of Solace (2008). Her film credits include Momentum (2015), To the Wonder (2012), Oblivion (2013), The Water Diviner (2014), Johnny English Strikes Again (2018) and The Room (2019).
