Sapphire and Chris’s battle earned a standing ovation from The Voice judges and the audience. Coach Kelly ultimately picked Chris Sebastian as the winner of the battle. Sapphire Tamalemai was saved by judge Boy George. Both Chris and Sapphire advanced to the next round of the competition.

“Titanium” by David Guetta features vocals by Australian recording artist Sia. It was released in December 2011 as the fourth single from Guetta’s fifth studio album, Nothing but the Beat. “Titanium” peaked at number one in the United Kingdom, becoming Guetta’s fifth number-one single on the chart and Sia’s first.

Chris Sebastian is the brother of Guy Sebastian, one of the current judges of The Voice Australia.
The Voice Australia was renewed for a ninth season right after the end of the eighth season. It was announced that all coaches would return for the new season.
The ninth season of The Voice Australia begun airing on May 24, 2020. For the first time in the show’s history all of the coaches are returning: Delta Goodrem for her eighth, Kelly Rowland and Boy George for their fourth and Guy Sebastian for his second. Following the exit of Sonia Kruger, Darren McMullen, who hosted the first three seasons, returns with new co-host, Renee Bargh.
The show is part of the television franchise The Voice and is structured as three phases: blind auditions, battle rounds and live performance shows. The show added another phase in 2017: the knockouts between the blind auditions and the battles. The winner receives a recording contract with Universal Music or EMI (2019) as well as A$100,000 and other prizes.
