Psych 2: Lassie Come Home focuses on Santa Barbara Police Chief Carlton Lassiter (Timothy Omundson), who is ambushed on the job and left for dead. While recuperating, he begins to see impossible happenings around his recovery clinic.
Shawn (James Roday) and Gus (Dulé Hill) return to Santa Barbara to help their old police chief Lassie, but find themselves unwelcome in their old stomping ground as they secretly untangle a twisted case that involves the supernatural. What they uncover will change their relationships forever.

Psych 2: Lassie Come Home (formerly titled Psych: The Movie 2) is the second Psych film and will air on NBCU streamer Peacock.
The sequel is written by Roday, Psych creator Steve Franks, and Andy Berman. It was originally supposed to air on USA Network, but last September 2019, it moved over to NBCUniversal’s new streaming service Peacock.
Also starring in the film are original cast members Maggie Lawson, Kirsten Nelson, and Corbin Bernsen, alongside Joel McHale, Jimmi Simpson, Sarah Chalke, and Kadeem Hardison. Allison Miller, Roday’s A Million Little Things costar also joins the cast, together with Richard Schiff, Hill’s former West Wing costar .
