Years after the murder of Vera (Millie Brady), her friend from college, Paula is driven to make a documentary about the case and asks former professor Henry (Andrew Buchan) to help. Intrigo: Samaria is an intense thriller directed by Swedish filmmaker Daniel Alfredson (Echoes from the Dead, Kidnapping Mr. Heineken, Wolf, The Girl Who Played with Fire), who also co-wrote the screenplay with Birgitta Bongenhielm. Based on a series of novellas by Håkan Nesser, Intrigo: Samaria is the third film in the Intrigo Anthology, following up Intrigo: Death of an Author and Intrigo: Dear Agnes previously.

English stage and TV actor Andrew Buchan (age 41) plays the role of Henry. Buchan is known for his roles in the television shows Broadchurch (2013-17), Party Animals (2007), The Fixer (2008-09), and Garrow’s Law.
