All season long, The Bachelor fans have been shown a clip of Peter’s mother Barbara crying and imploring Peter, “Don’t let her go. Bring her home. Bring her home to us.”
As Peter Weber’s journey to find the right woman for him progressed, The Bachelor fans thought Barbara was talking about foster parent recruiter Madison Prewett (age 23).
When Peter finally chose his top two ladies, namely Hannah Ann Sluss (age 23) and Madison, more Bachelor fans reiterated that Peter’s mom is talking about Madison especially amid speculations that she quit the show before Peter had a chance to propose to his chosen bachelorette.
A lot of Bachelor fans were surprised however, when it was revealed in the first part of The Bachelor Season 2020 finale that Peter’s mother was talking about Hannah Ann all along and not Madison. She described Hannah Ann as a perfect girl and she told Peter that “Hannah Ann loves you with all of her heart.”
It was ultra clear from the conversation that Peter’s family prefers Hannah Ann over Madison. And to Peter’s credit, he defended Madison and tried to explain to his family about how perfect his relationship is with Madison and how much she meant to him.

SPOILER ALERT:
Famous blogger Reality Steve says that Madison will not show up in the final rose ceremony because she self-eliminates herself (breaking up earlier with Peter), leaves Australia and goes home. He said that what Chris Harrison reveals to Peter prior to the rose ceremony is that Hannah Ann is thinking about leaving too. In the end, despite her hesitations, Hannah Ann stays.
Revising his earlier spoiler that Peter cancels the rose ceremony to go after Madison, the blogger said that Peter gave his final rose to Hannah Ann and they got engaged. But eventually, they broke up, which explains the scene where Peter is crying and saying “I’m so sorry…never expected this to happen.”
It appears Peter broke up with Hannah Ann to pursue Madison. But as to the status of Madison and Peter’s relationship, that’s a big question mark. Reality Steve is not sure whether Peter will propose to Madison in the live finale (After the Final Rose) or not. Bachelor fans will have to wait for the show and watch the live finale to know how Peter Weber’s Bachelor season will end.
