Banana performed “Achy Breaky Heart” by Billy Ray Cyrus during Week 4 of The Masked Singer Season 3. Judges Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and guest judge Gabriel Iglesias (aka Fluffy) and the audience danced to Banana’s lively rendition.
“Achy Breaky Heart” is a song written in 1990 by Don Von Tress and was recorded by The Marcy Brothers under the title “Don’t Tell My Heart” in 1991. It was later recorded by Billy Ray Cyrus and released on his debut album Some Gave All in 1992. The song is Cyrus’ debut single and became the first single ever to achieve triple Platinum status in Australia. In the United States, it peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Hot Country Songs chart.
Banana was voted “Safe” by the audience and advances to the next round of The Masked Singer.
