Madison Prewett gets the one-on-one date with Peter Weber on Week 7 of The Bachelor 2020 (Season 24). They travelled to the outskirts of Lima where authentic Peruvian dishes are served. Then they went fishing and caught a fish onto a boat.
But it was in the night portion, after Peter and Madison got dancing together, that they had a real serious talk. Madison revealed to Peter her religious background being from a Christian household and tells him that she wants the person that she ends up with to lead her family in faith.
Peter admired Madison for her faith saying, “How much faith you do have, and how important that is for you, I love that.” He said, it inspires him so much. He admitted that his faith could “could be stronger,” and says Christianity is “important” to him.
Then he said he feels so good about Madison, and after exhaling deeply, he says, “I know that I’m falling in love with you.”
After hearing those words, Madison bites her lips and almost whispers, “I’m so glad you said that. Like, so glad. Like I needed that.”
Peter said that’s “like the truth” and “it feels so good”. Then Madison and Peter kissed. Madison laughed and said she’s really so happy. Of course, Madison gets a rose from Peter.
In the interview after her date, Madison admitted that she’s “like on cloud nine right now.” She said the conversation didn’t go how she planned but it was way better. She said what she wants exactly in a marriage is someone who is so real and honest to her, someone who wants to get better, someone who wants to be challenged, who values faith and family. She said this was definitely a huge huge step.
Peter ends up choosing his top 4, namely Madison Prewett, Hannah Ann Sluss, Kelsey Weier and Victoria Fuller during Week 7.
Season 24 of The Bachelor premiered January 6, 2020, featuring Peter Weber (age 28), a Delta Air Lines pilot from Westlake Village, California. Weber is the third placer on The Bachelorette (Season 15) featuring Hannah Brown.
