But the main event occurs at a pool party with all the women, when one bachelorette draws the ire of many of the ladies as a stunning revelation has Peter struggling with his feelings for the controversial woman. Will Peter trust his heart or what he hears from the other bachelorettes?
The 24th season of The Bachelor premiered January 6, 2020, featuring 28-year-old Peter Weber, a Delta Air Lines pilot from Westlake Village, California. Weber ended up in third place on Season 15 of The Bachelorette featuring Hannah Brown.
On September 17, 2019, during the reunion episode of Season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise, Weber was announced as the next Bachelor by host Chris Harrison. Weber was chosen over his other popular castmates Tyler Cameron and Mike Johnson.
The initial list of contestants were announced on the show’s social media pages, where it was revealed that beauty queens Alayah Benavidez, Hannah Ann Sluss, Kelsey Weier, Victoria Paul and Maurissa Gunn were contestants. Of those five, Benavidez was crowned Miss United States 2016 while the rest competed in Miss USA division pageants. The cast also includes Madison Prewett, the daughter of Auburn Tigers men’s basketball assistant coach and director of operations Chad Prewett.
Season 24 initially filmed in Cleveland, Ohio and Costa Rica but will include visits to Chile and Peru. Weber reportedly suffered a minor facial injury while filming in Costa Rica.
