The 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards (2020 SAG Awards), was held on January 19, 2020 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. The ceremony was broadcast live on TNT and TBS at 8PM EST/5PM PST. The awards show is presented by the Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG – AFTRA).
The 2020 SAG Awards gave honor to the best achievements in film and TV performances for the year 2019. Robert De Niro was announced as the 2019 SAG Life Achievement Award recipient on November 12, 2019 and nominees were announced on December 11, 2019.
Big name celebrities were featured as presenters but the awards show was hostless. Leonardo DiCaprio presented the Life Achievement Award to Robert De Niro. Additional 26th SAG Awards Presenters included Steve Buscemi, Gwendoline Christie, Glenn Close, Jennifer Garner, Tom Hanks, Scarlett Johansson, Nicole Kidman, Lupita Nyong’o, Margot Robbie, Charlize Theron, Sophie Turner, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, among others.
