Ricky Braddy (age 36) of Team Blake Shelton performed a stunning version of “So High” during the Knockouts round of The Voice 2019 (Season 17).
“So High” is a song by American singer John Legend, who is also a coach on The Voice. Released as a single in 2005, the song peaked at number 53 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.
For his stellar performance, Ricky Braddy got a standing ovation from all the coaches of The Voice, namely Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and Blake Shelton.
Ricky Braddy faced Zach Bridges at the Knockouts, with the latter singing “The Dance” by Garth Brooks.
Coach Blake Shelton chose Ricky Braddy as the winner of the Knockouts, advancing him to the Live Playoffs. Zach Bridges was eliminated from the competition.
