The seventeenth series of Strictly Come Dancing began broadcasting on 7 September 2019. Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman returned to present the Main Show and the Results show, with Zoë Ball returning to present Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two alongside new addition Rylan Clark-Neal.
Kelvin Fletcher is an English actor, writer, model and racing driver who played Andy Sugden for 20 years in the long-running television soap opera Emmerdale from 1996–2016. Alongside acting Kelvin is also a professional racing driver currently racing in the British GT Championship.
Kelvin Fletcher has an MSA Competition Licence and won the 2012 Silverstone Classic Celebrity Challenge race. He also raced the Mighty Mini’s and the Team Trophy. On 22 March 2016, it was confirmed that Fletcher would race in the British Touring Car Championship for that season.
Kelvin Fletcher is also a fan of rugby league; growing up, he was a fan of Paul Sculthorpe and Kevin Sinfield as they were both from Oldham, and he makes occasional appearances at testimonial matches of famous players. He married his long-time girlfriend Liz Marsland on 28 November 2015, and their daughter Marnie was born on 25 August 2016. In December 2018 they welcomed a son called Milo.
