Twins Dane & Stephanie from New Jersey, sang an amazing cover of “Angela’ on The Voice 2019 (Season 17) Blind Auditions.
“Angela” is a song by the American folk rock band The Lumineers. Released in 2016, the song peaked at number three on Billboard’s US Adult Alternative Songs.
Coaches John Legend and Blake Shelton turned their chairs for the duo.
John praised the twins’ harmonizing and said “the blend was gorgeous.” He said he directed choirs when he was growing up and that he loves the idea of arranging multiple vocals together.
Blake Shelton said he had not done any vocal arranging or choir leading, but he won “The Voice” six times. He said he’s the only one to ever bring a duo to the finale.
The twins Dane and Stephanie decided to join the team of John Legend.
