The colorful Panda lost to Flamingo and had to face Leopard in the smackdown on Week 2 of The Masked Singer 2019 (Season 2).
Leopard sang “Respect” by Aretha Franklin while Panda performed “All I Do is Win” by DJ Khaled.
Panda lost the vote and was eliminated from The Masked Singer, while Leopard was deemed safe for the night.
Before Panda left the show, she was unmasked, which is the standard procedure for competitors who were voted off the show.
So who is Panda? The unmasking revealed that Panda is none other than boxer Laila Ali (age 41), a four-time world champion boxer who retired undefeated. Laila is the daughter of the late legendary heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali.
It looked like no one among judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke, was able to correctly guess who Panda is, although Laila Ali’s name was mentioned in passing.
Only host Nick Cannon had an inkling of who Panda really is. He shouted excitedly “I knew it, I knew it,” when Laila took off the mask to reveal her identity.
