The Grudge is an upcoming American supernatural horror film written and directed by Nicolas Pesce, from a story by Jeff Buhler and Pesce. It is based on the film “Ju-On: The Grudge” written and directed by Takashi Shimizu.
The film takes place in the same concurrent timeline as the 2004 film of the same name, while also serving as the re-imagining of the American film series, which is based on the Japanese Ju-On films.
