The Bachelorette star Hannah Brown (age 25) and her professional partner Alan Bersten (age 25) danced the “Jazz” on Week 7: Halloween Night of Dancing with the Stars 2019 (Season 28).
Hannah and Alan performed their jazz routine to “Bad Girls” by Donna Summer. They got a total score of 25, from DWTS judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli.
The former Miss Alabama failed to please all of the judges with Bruno saying she needed more “punch” in her dance while Carrie Ann found something lacking in her performance. Carrie Ann added that Hannah was disconnected from her movements and said she wanted Hannah to open up and that there’s a hint of shyness in her dance.
But judge Len Goodman disagreed with the other judges, saying Hannah’s performance was really “crisp and clear.”
Later in the team competition when Carrie Ann said that the connection she was looking for in Hannah is now apparent, Hannah fought back tears and said she had a good time but said she is just a girl from reality TV.
Failing to get good scores in two consecutive dances, Hannah and Alan’s ranking dropped from first to second place in the competition. The partners James and Emma are now ranked first with an average score of 24, while Hannah and Allan are tied with the dance couple Ally & Sasha in second place, both with an average score of 23.8.
Meanwhile, the dance pair of Karamo Brown and Jenna Johnson (Karamo & Jenna) were eliminated from Dancing with the Stars as the judges opted to save Kate & Pasha instead.
