The Masked Singer Season 2 premiere on September 25, 2019 featured eight (8) contestants giving amazing performances.
Among the the 8 masked singers, the smackdowns were between Egg and Skeleton in Group A, and Tree and Ice Cream in Group B.
In the end, Egg and Ice Cream were booted out of The Masked Singer Season 2. Skeleton and Tree remain in the competition, along with Butterfly, Thingamajig, Ladybug, and Rottweiler.
So, who are the celebrities behind “Egg” and “Ice Cream”?
“Egg” is none other than Johnny Weir, an American figure skater, fashion designer and TV commentator. Weir is a two-time Olympian and the 2008 World bronze medalist.
“Ice Cream” turned out to be Ninja (real name Richard Tyler Blevins), an American YouTuber, professional gamer, and internet personality.
The Masked Singer is hosted by Nick Cannon and the judges are Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke.
