Sailor Brinkley-Cook, the daughter of American model, actress and entrepreneur Christie Brinkley, had an amazing debut on Dancing with the Stars 2019 (Season 28).
Sailor substituted for her mom Christie, when the latter broke her arm five days before the season premiere. She told two-time DWTS champion Valentin Chmerkovskiy that she never danced before and like her mom, she has also modeled for Sports Illustrated.
With just three days to prepare for her DWTS debut, Sailor definitely slayed the dance floor in her foxtrot number with Val. She ranked 4th in the first episode, with an average score of 18. Not bad for someone who practiced a whole dance routine in a very short time. Mom Christie, who watched with the audience, was beaming with pride.

Dancing with the Stars is hosted by Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews. The judging panel is composed of Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba.
