Singer and pianist Antonio Sorgentone (age 37), the winner of Italy’s Got Talent 2019, literally lit the stage with his performance at the preliminary rounds of Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions 2019.
Singing and playing the piano wildly and later setting the piano on fire during his performance, Sorgentone’s act became one of the most unforgettable during the preliminaries.
Sorgentone got a standing ovation from the audience and from BGT The Champions judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.
In the end, the Italian singer got eliminated from the competition but came in 3rd in Audience vote.
The MerseyGirls won the Audience vote for the night, and together with the Golden Buzzer act Alexa Lauenburger, they advanced to the finals of BGT The Champions.
