Caelynn Miller-Keyes (age 24) and Dean Unglert (age 28) left Bachelor in Paradise together, with both of them wearing big smiles and giggling with happiness while riding the van.
Last week’s episode showed Dean Unglert (minus the mustache) coming back for Caelynn and asking her to leave Bachelor in Paradise with him.
Though Caelynn was starting to date Connor Saeli and felt that he was the perfect choice compared to “dangerous guy” Dean, she eventually followed her heart and decided to leave with Dean after a very long, serious talk.
In their conversation, Caelynn told Dean she’s scared of getting hurt. Dean replied, “Connor could hurt you at the end of the day too. I think we just have to promise each other that we’ll do our best to not hurt each other. Because I’m terrified of the same thing.”
When Caelynn asked what’s next if she leaves with Dean, he came up with a heartwarming reply. “I can’t tell you exactly what’s gonna happen next. But I know that I wanna try and I wanna figure this out and I want it to be with you.”
Dean said that during his short time on the beach, he observed Caelynn’s steadily increasing happiness. “I wanna be the one that’s responsible for those things, going forward and leaving here…And I know that it’s a difficult decision. But you put a smile on my face everytime I see you and I don’t want that to stop,” he said.
Caelynn replied, “So, fly back to San Diego and you’d drive me to LA in your van?” With that reply, Dean broke out in a big smile and said, “Yes Ma’am, if that’s what it takes.”
Dean had to make sure and asked Caelynn if she’s leaving with him. Caelynn nodded and said, “Feels wrong.” Dean replied, “No, it’s the best decision you ever made.” And they ended their conversation with a kiss.
The other contestants reacted, with most of the girls crying and saying they’re happy for Caelynn.
Connor walked away from the group and later, Caelynn had to say her goodbye to him. She told Connor, “I’m really sorry. It doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t make sense to you, it doesn’t make sense to me. But my heart’s being pulled to Dean for some reason.” Connor just had to nod, and then they hugged each other as they said their goodbyes.
As of the latest update from Caelynn’s Instagram, she’s still with Dean and wants him to grow back his mustache.
