Light Balance Kids, the light-up dance group from Kiev, Ukraine, performed a fast food-inspired dance routine on America’s Got Talent (AGT) Finals 2019 (Season 14).
The group’s high tech neon and LED performance to “Kiss the Sky” by Jason Derulo and “Cake By The Ocean” by DNCE, was a jaw-dropping spectacle that combined precision dancing and technology.
The Light Balance Kids, who happen to be guest judge Ellie Kemper’ Golden Buzzer act, earned a standing ovation for their stunning peformance from both the audience and AGT judges Simon Cowell, Julianne Hough, Gabrielle Union, and Howie Mandel.
Julianne Hough said their performance was creative and innovative. “It was amazing. Well, well done. You knocked it out of the park.”
Gabrielle Union noted how one member named Dennis in his hospital gown just doing it. “That just goes to show the world how committed you guys are and how focused you are. Great job!”
Simon Cowell admitted that he wasn’t very supportive of the group through the competition. But he said when it mattered, like tonight (the finals), “you pulled out the best performance you have done throughout the entire competition.” He added that it was the first time that he felt the young members of Light Balance Kids and not the older people in the background, who did the creative and coming up with the ideas which were fun, cool and relevant. “That was amazing,” Simon concluded.
Howie Mandel said, “I always have one word for you and that is Wow and I still believe in. And now with all the wands in the audience, this is the most immersive, fun, Vegas act. It was a wonderful, delicious snack of talent and nobody’s mentioning, the entire act was gluten-free.”
