Ventriloquist and winner of America’s Got Talent 2017 (Season 12) Darci Lynne Farmer, performed a jaw-dropping version of “It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World” (aka ‘It’s a Man’s World’) at the AGT live semifinals 1 show.
‘It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World’ is a song by James Brown and Betty Jean Newsome. Brown recorded it and released it as a single in 1966.
Darci Lynne Farmer’s (age 14) cover of the song is remarkable considering she sang it through her puppet Petunia. Smiling all throughout as Petunia scaled the notes of the classic James Brown hit song, Darci Lynne wowed the live audience at the Dolby Theatre as well as AGT judges Simon Cowell, Gabrielle Union, Howie Mandel, and Julianne Hough.
