Zeroville is a comedy-drama film directed by James Franco, based on the 2007 novel of the same name by Steve Erickson.
The movie follows Vikar (James Franco), an actor who journeys through Hollywood 1969, during a transitional time in the industry. He takes different jobs and later becomes an apprentice editor obsessed with wielding the power of moving images.
Vikar falls for a tragic screen goddess named Soledad (Megan Fox) and together they discover just how hard it is to live in the blurred boundary between reality and illusion.
