Taylor Swift (age 29) has done it again!
She gifted a fan from Toronto, Canada named Ayesha Khurram, with almost $5,000 (or CAD $6,386.47). Taylor Swift sent the money via Ayesha’s PayPal account.
The financial help from Taylor Swift will be used by Ayesha for college tuition and rent for this semester.
It all started with an honest Tumblr post of Ayesha saying:
my paypal is ayeshakhurram13[at]gmail[dot]com & i truly cannot afford my tuition or rent this semester so if you wanna help me out i’m honestly at that point where i can’t really refuse it
Ayesha then followed the post with:
pray for me i’m $5k short aha
2 hours later after posting her struggles on Tumblr, Ayesha received an email that says:
Taylor Nation, LLC sent you $6,386.47 CAD.
Note from Taylor Nation, LLC:
“Ayesha, get your learn on girl. I love you! Taylor”
Ayesha quickly shared the picture of the transaction to Instagram with this caption:
i posted about struggling with paying for tuition. two hours later, i get this in my email. i have no words and i can’t stop crying. i don’t have words i don’t have words i don’t have words i can’t stop crying
This is not the first time Taylor Swift helped a fan.
Back in 2015, Taylor Swift sent her fan, Rebekah Bortnicker, a box that contains a check for $1,989, Polaroid photos and a handwritten letter that reads:
I was thinking about you today, and how you have been there cheering me on in the most thoughtful and creative ways. Rebekah, now you’re $1989 closer to paying off those student loans.
