“City on A Hill” follows Assistant District Attorney Decourcy Ward (Aldis Hodge), who forms an unlikely alliance with FBI veteran, Jackie Rohr. The series is based on an original concept by Ben Affleck and Chuck MacLean, which was in turn inspired by the “Boston Miracle.”
Showtime renewed the series for a second season on August 2, 2019.
