Singer and pianist Kodi Lee (age 22) sang a heartfelt cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ during the quarterfinals of America’s Got Talent 2019 (Season 14).
The blind and autistic singer, who’s also one of AGT 2019’s Golden Buzzer acts [See: AGT 2019 Kodi Lee Audition], gave such an emotional rendition of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel’s biggest hit single. All throughout his performance, there were sporadic bursts of thunderous applause from the audience.
America’s Got Talent judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Julianne Hough, and Gabrielle Union as well as the audience gave Kodi Lee a standing ovation. The audience also chanted Kodi’s name after his amazing performance.
