Dance Group Emerald Belles, composed of 63 high school students from Southlake Carroll of Texas, performed a stunning number that showcased synchronized high kick during the quarterfinals of America’s Got Talent 2019 (Season 14).
The dance squad, also known as a drill team, made a huge jump in their performance level. Judge Howie Mandel, who was tough on the girls and voted No during their audition, had to sort of apologize to Emerald Belles. He said that they “blew the roof off” the place and that their performance was spectacular.
Gabrielle Union said the dance group “killed it”, Julianne Hough said their act was “unbelievable”, while Simon Cowell said that the Emerald Belles define what ‘America’s Got Talent’ is all about – hard work, dedication, rehearsals, ambition.
